Library Book Clubs

Afternoon Book Club

All welcome. Always the last Tuesday of the Month at 1pm.

End of the World Book Club

Join us for a monthly discussion of sci-fi and horror novels and short stories! Each month is a different theme; choose from suggested titles or select anything you’re interested in reading on the theme, then come to book club to give a brief summary and tell us what you thought of your selection. Meets the 4th Thursday of the month at 6:30pm.

Special Note: In addition to our regular monthly discussion, we are doing an ongoing read-along of Mark Z. Danielewski’s The House of Leaves. A few minutes of each meeting will be spent discussing this unique and challenging masterpiece of horror literature. Copies are provided to interested book club members; if you would like to join in this discussion and receive a copy of The House of Leaves, please email Annie at atripp@salemva.gov.
